Dear Mark,
I've enclosed here a completed application for the rezoning of tax map parcel
to B2 with IA overlay. The signed application, power of attorney, fee and
comment sheets from VDOT, Frederick County Public Works, the Building
Inspector and the Fire Marshal are all provided. Previously we had forwarded site
plans showing the sign location and views of the standard Outback Steakhouse
sign to be used.

Previously, you've reviewed plans for a new restaurant at the southwest intersection of U.S. Route 11 and VA
Route 839. Outback is pursuing a rezoning to be included in the interchange overlay zone for the I -81 and VA
Route 37 interchange. This will allow Outback to erect a 63 ft. high sign visible from the interstate.
I've enclosed a copy of the application, your specific comment sheet and detail of the sign and its location on the
site. Please provide comments to my attention.
We are trying to meet a June 11 submission deadline at the County. We believe this rezoning has Little to no
impact on existing infrastructure and hope your responses can be completed quickly. Your assistance in this
regard would be appreciated.
