Structural plans submitted for permit application shall be sealed by a Virginia Lcensed Design Professional. Building shall comply with height and area requirements as allowed for type of construction in T103, IBC 2009. Approaches and door clearances for main exit/entrance shall comply with ANSI A117.1 -03 Clearance required for two doors in series shall comply with ANSI Section 404.2.5. Handicap parking shall comply with ANSI Al 17.1-03. A minimum of one van accessible space isrequired per 1106.5 IBC 09. Van accessible parking shall have a minimum of 11' width with 5'unloading area or a minimum of 8' unloading area with an 8' width per Section 502 ANSI. IBC 1106.6 requires HC parking to be located on the shortest accessible route of travel from ad acent parking to the accessible building entrance. Question as to the location and shortest route. Accessible transition from parking and accessible route into main entrance shall comply with Al 17.1 -003 for allowable slopes. Slopes exceeding 1:12 (5 %) shall be constructed as a ramp. Ramps shall comply with IBC Section 1010 and shall be provided with handrails on both sides where exceeding 6" rise. Question as to accessible route to entrance. Please provide elevation marks along accessible route. Please note the requirements in Chapter 17 of BOCA for special inspection requirements on the type of structure.( Soils, concrete ect. j.
