Structure shall comply with The Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code and Section 312, use
group U (Utility and Miscellaneous) of The International Building Code 2006. The structure is
required to comply with Chap 15 & 16 of the IBC 2006 for structural load, as well as, Section
3108 for Towers.
The existing tower shall evaluated structurally and additional weight be calculated.
Documentation shall be sealed by a Licensed Virginia Engineer.
The site shall be equipped with step bolts and ladders so as to provide ready access for inspection
purposes.
Special inspections per Chap 17 IBC 2006 apply to this structure.
Plans submitted for review shall be sealed by a Virginia Registered Design Professional
Construction of Pre Engineered 11 x 30 shelter requires a building permit. Plans submitted shall
be sealed by a Virginia Registered Design Professional Relocation/additional (future) antennas .

Dear Mr. Martin:
We have reviewed your request for site plan comments to place antennas at 184'
on an existing antenna tower owned by Crown Castle site name Reliance -
located at 449 Catlett Lane, Middletown, Virginia.
Since the existing tower is the immediate controlling obstruction and your
proposed frequencies are within the ranges of the FAA pre - approved bands for
co- location, you will not be required to file with the Federal Aviation
Administration or the Virginia Department of Aviation for an aeronautical airspace
study. However, your company must still meet any other local, State or Federal
requirements.

We have reviewed the above referenced plan dated October 5, 2010. A review of our records
and in the field have determined that Catlett Lane is a privately maintained road; therefore, we
have no jurisdiction over this access. We would recommend that the site plan be updated to
indicated that Catlett Lane is a private street.
