On behalf of the Frederick County Board of Supervisors, you are hereby notified of a public hearing
being held on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at 7:15 p.m. in the Board Room of the Frederick County
Administration Building at 107 North Kent Street, Winchester, Virginia to consider the following
application:
Rezoning #06 -08 of Route 50 Assisted Living Facility, submitted by Bowman Consulting, to rezone
10.47 acres from RA (Rural Areas) District to B2 (General Business) District, with proffers. The
properties are located on the south side of Northwestern Pike (Route 50), west of the intersection of
Ward Avenue and Route 50, in the Back Creek Magisterial District, and are identified by Property
Identification Numbers 53 -A -81, 53 -A -82. 53B -3 -24 and 5313-3 -25.
Any interested parties having questions or wishing to speak may attend this public hearing. A copy of
the application will be available for review at the Handley Library and the Bowman Library the week of
the meeting, or at the Department of Planning and Development located at 107 North Kent Street in
