MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING of the FREDERICK COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION Held in the County Office Building, March 29, 1972 A Special Meeting of the Frederick County Planning Commission was held in the Supervisors Room of the County Office Building, Winchester, Virginia this day and was called to order by the Chairman James W. Golladay at 4:00 P.M. PRESENT: James W. Golladay, Charles E. Bass, Maurice W. Perry,'Elmer Venskoske, George Shanks; Manuel_C.DeHaven, Richard Madigan. Also, Don E. Krueger and Roy Jennings. ABSENT;: Keith Williams The Chairman announced the purpose of the Meeting was to conduct a Public Hearing on the rezoning application of Lynwood S. and Betty J. Dunn to rezone 1.162 acres more or less from Residential (R -1) to Residential (R -2). The Secretary read the application at the request of the Chairman. Mr. Benjamin M. Butler appeared as Attorney for petitioner. No one appeared in opposition. , Mr. Butler stated that the purpose for the rezoning was to provide for two existing duplex structures plus one additional duplex unit. . It came to the attention of the Commission that the area to be rezoned had sufficient area to contain only the two existing duplex units. 'D On motion of Mr. Perry, seconded by Mr. BAss and approved with Mr. Venskoske abstaining the Commission recommends to the Board of Supervisors that thelrezohimg application be approved for the land to contain the existing two duplex units only.
