MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION OF FREDERICK COUNTY, VIRGINIA
Held in the County Office Building
September 25, 1968 - 4:00 P.M.
The Meeting was called to order by J. W. Golladay,
Chairman.
Members Present: J. W. Golladay, Chairman; N.
Belmont Fout; Elmer M. Venskoske; and Joseph A. Massie, Jr.,

Minutes of °the previous meeting were read and
approved.
The petitions Fred L. Glaize, III and E. E. Bayliss,
Jr., represented by James L. Berry, Attorney, were presented
requesting re- zoning of about 7 Acres, more or less, of land
on the North side of Senseny Road, adjoining the lands of ,
Matusek, Sutton and others, from R -1 to R -2, for the construction
of garden -type apartment buildings to be two and one -half
stories high, colonial..design, 150 units, 255 parking spaces,
total value of about two million, rendering taxes of about
$15,000.00 per year. There are 8 to 11 units in each building,
public water and sewer available -- water to be brought in
maincentrance off Senseny Road, and sewer to be brought up
a revene off Senseny Road. The apartments are to be
efficiencies, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units.
On motion duly made and seconded and passed, it
was unanimously resolved that a Public Hearing on the petition
be held October 11, 1968, at 4:00 o'clock, P.M., in the Board
Room, advertisements to be placed in the.paper on September
27, and October 4, 1968.
There being no further business to come before the
Meeting the same was thereupon adjourned.
