Minutes of Meeting
Held Nov. 23, 1966
At a meeting of the Frederick County Planning
Commission held in the Supervisor's Room on the 23rd day
of November, 1966.
PRESENT: James Golliday, George Whitacre,
Joseph A. Massie, Jr., Grover Teets, Elmer Venskoske,
Belmont Fout, D. K. Russell, Clinton L. Ritter, and
Charles Bass.
Upon motion dulymade and seconded,
Flournoy L. Largent, Jr., attorney presented
a application to the Planning Commission for a variance
10) in the zoning ordinance which requires all construction
other than dwellings not to.be closer than 2,000 feet:f
to Route 50 between the James Wood School and Merriman's
Lane.
A motion was made and passed that there be a
Public Hearing on the Application of Dr. J. P. Arthur
for construction of an Animal Hospital in Zoned Area
"A" to be held at 2:00 P. M., December 9, 1966.
David Headley appeared before the Planning
Commission and explained the Comprehensive Plan for
the orderly development of Community Water and Sewer
System in the County.
