At a meeting of the Frederick County Planning
Minutes of Meeting ,
Held October 5, 1966
Commission held in the Supervisor's Room on the 5th day
of October, 1966.
PRESENT: James Golliday, D. K. Russell, Charles
E. Bass, Clinton Ritter, Belmont Fout, Joseph A. Massie,Jr.,
and George B. Whitacre.
Upon motion duly made and seconded,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission

approves the change to the area adjacent to the Western
City Limits and East of Merriman's Lane from R -2 to R -1.
The above motion was passed.
Upon motion duly made and seconded,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission
approve the change -to the area east of a line along
Linden Drive from U. S. Route #50 North to a point
500 feet South of U. S
City Limits.
Route #522 and East to the
The above motion was passed.
Upon motion duly made and seconded,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission
approve the change to the area just West of City Limits
and South of Route #50 from R -2 to R -1
The above motion was passed.

Held October 5,1966
Upon motion duly made and seconded,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission
approve the change to the area North of Route #50 and
East of Linden Drive North in a line with Linden Drive
to a point 500 feet South of Route #522 thence eastward
to the City Limits from R -2 to R -1.
The above motion was passed.
Upon motion duly made and seconded,
Joseph A. Massie, Jr., was requested to draw
up a resolution on the death of Clyde Heishman, a
member of the Frederick County Planning Commission.
Upon motion duly made and seconded,
A motion was made that the proposed zoning
Ordinance and Map of the Zoned Areas of the County be
presented to the Board of Supervisor's with recommendations
of the Planning Commission.
The next meeting was called for 7th day of
December, 1966.
