PC_07-27-66_Meeting_Minutes Minutes of Meeting July 27, 1966 2! d At a meeting of the Frederick County Planning Commission held in the Supervisor's Room on the 27th day of July, 1966. PRESENT: Charles E. Bass, Elmer Venskoske, D. K. Russell,C t G. Grover Teets, Belmont Fout, James Golliday, Clinton Ritter, and George B. Whitacre. The purpose of the meetingvas to consider the changes in the zoning ordinance. H. C. Gabler, represented by John Anderson, attorney, requested consideration to the re- zoning of Area M -2 11) (Industrial - General). E. E. Martin and N. W. Garrison representing the Colonial Heights Subdivision asked that the area R =1 be zoned to R -2. Mr. Martin was asked to supply map, by next meeting.(August 3, 1966) Mr. Briscoe Snapp of Kernstown appeared requesting that a part of his land along the railroad be zoned Industrial. C. G. Follansbee representing the Winchester - Industrial Corporation or the lands of Marks Pony Farm be zoned. William Stickley, III appeared before the Commission requesting that 15 acres be zoned Industrial General lying betteen Interstate No. 81 and Route 11 at Vaucluse.
