Lawrence, Deputy Director'.,f RE: Cross Creek Village Landscape Plan DATE: April 11, 2002 At 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 11, 2002, staff participated in an on -site meeting to discuss the required landscape plantings for the Cross Creek Village subdivision. In attendance was Jim Y Vickers, Greg Unger, Vaughn Foura, Mike Milam, and John Massie, and Eric Lawrence. The following items were agreed to by those in attendance: 1. Individual lot plantings. The Zoning Ordinance requires that 20 plantings be planted on each of the Single Family Small Lots. Five of these plantings shall be trees. It was agreed that the lot sizes were too small to accommodate all five of the required trees. Therefore, the update to 3 of the required trees could be planted elsewhere in the Cross Creek Development. By planting these trees within the project the property owners will continue to reap the intended benefits. A typical lot landscape plan will be submitted by the applicant and placed in the Subdivision File. 2. Residential Separation Buffers. RSBs are required along the eastern and southwestern property lines. Based on the natural terrain and existing vegetation, modifications to the typical landscape buffer plantings is appropriate. The developer will provide a revised landscape plan schematic to the Planning Department for placement in the Subdivision file. While items 1 and 2 enable the developer to deviate from the standard landscape requirements, this deviation does not enable a reduction in the total number of required plantings for the project. The developer will provide the Planning Department with a running total, per phase, confirming that the required plantings are satisfied.
