THIS DEED OF DEDICATION made and dated this day of
January, 1982, by and between RALPH WHITACRE, LEROY DEHAVEN,
and THOMAS DAVIS, Trustees, of the CHESTNUT GROVE UNITED METHODIS
CHURCH.
WHEREAS, the Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church is
the owner of six (6) certain parcels or tracts of land described
in the plat of survey drawn by Charles H. Kirkland, C. L. S.,
dated September 29, 1981, attached hereto and by this reference
made a part hereof as if set out in full; and,
WHEREAS, title to the subject property is vested in the
parties of the first part as Trustees of the Chestnut Grove Unite
Methodist Church and it is the desire of the Chestnut Grove Unite
Methodist Church to cause the six (6) separate tracts of land be
consolidated into one tract or parcel of land containing 5.77765
Acres;
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual benefits t
be derived therefrom, the parties of the first part hereby declar
their intentions to consolidate all of those six (6) certain
tracts or parcels of land shown on that survey drawn by Charles H,
Kirkland, C. L. S., dated September 29, 1981, attached hereto and
by this reference made a part hereof as if set out in full, into
one tract of land containing 5.77765 Acres.
This subdivision and consolidation of real estate is wit
the free consent and the desires of the undersigned Trustees
who are the Owners of the subject property.

Plat of a survev made for the Trustees of Chestnut Grove ethodist Church
lying in the Gainesboro Magisterial District of Frederick County, Virginia.
This is the same land that was acquired by the Trustees of Chestnut Grove
Methodist Church by the following transactions, viz:
Lot 1. Conveyed by Jesse Johnson by deed dated February 20, 1929 recorded in
Deed Book 55. p. 227
Lot 2. A portion of this lot Was conveyed by 7onathan D. Clark by deed dated
September 12, 1914 recorded in Deed Book 137, p. 39. This land was
included in an ad itional conveyance frorr the heirs of Jonathan D.
Clark dated October 27, 1931 recorded in Deed Book 164, P. 101. It may
be noted in this last mentioned deed that the bearings are reversed.
Lot 3. this is the "Chestnut Grove School House Lot" from which the school
building was removed by Georga W. Bowers Lefore he conveyed the land
by deed dated May 299 1936 as recorld in Deed Book 172, p. 55.
Lot 4—„ Conveyed by 7. MarsNill Clark IDy dee dated August 30, 1969 recoraed in
Deed Book 356, p. 523.
Lot 4—i, This lot was attemted to bt, convLyen to 7. I":arshall Clark in consider—
ation for Lot 4—A as set forth in Deed Book 356, p. 523, but the
