Re: Legal Opinion Regarding Density Requirements for
Nottoway Townhouses
Dear John:
I agree that the developer of the Nottoway Townhouses Project
would be governed by the grandfather doctrine in view of the
fact that sixteen units have already been constructed under the
old R-3 zoning classification which contains no density require-
ments.

We are returning one copy of revised plans for the above
subdivision.
The plans appear satisfactory with the following exceptions:

1. The drainage easement from the cul-de-sac, Nottoway Drive,
to be a minimum of 15' width and extend across lots 25 and 26 to
Buckingham Drive.
2. Replace any existing entrance pipes along Route 277 and
Buckingham Drive that may be inadequate due to the diversion of
the water.
