Our comments may be found on the enclosed plans marked in red and as follows: 1. Due to the entrances to Lots No. 14, 15 & 16, Westmoreland Drive, across which the proposed overflow from the 36" pipe would have to pass to reach the 24" pipe, we recommend the 4.6 acres be diverted directly to the 24" pipe as noted on Plan Sheet 3 of 6. However, this would require adjustment to the easement and drainage ditch on the backside of Lot No. 89. If your proposal were allowed it would pose a serious maintenance problem for this Department at the private entrance locations when receiving a storm with a greater frequency than two (2) years. 2. The DI-1 drop inlet between Lots No. 69 & 70 should be changed to a standard DI-7 drop inlet Type 3 grate. 3. All drainage easements on Sections III & IV site plans should be identified by description or otherwise shaded in. Please revise the plans in accordance with the above recommendations and resubmit three (3) complete sets for final approval. Montgomery Circle should have 1.5" of S-5 pavement in lieu of prime & double seal due to the anticipated increase in future traffic. 5. It is the developer's responsibility to determine the size of private entrance culverts for this project. Our minimum requirements are 15" or 13"x17" in diameter and 30' in length. At this time I will require a listing of culvert sizes for my files. A private entrance detail should also be incorporated into the plans in accordance with the enclosed private entrance specification sheet. 6. The intersection grade of Dinwiddie Court and Fairfax Drive are to be adjusted to tie-in with the edge of pavement on Montgomery Circle. 2. CD-2 Underdrains to be installed at locations noted on the plans. 3. Standard EC-3 Soil Stabilization Mat is to be installed at locations noted on the plans. 4. Montgomery Circle should have 1.5" of S-5 pavement in lieu of prime & double seal due to the anticipated increase in future traffic. 5. It is the developer's responsibility to determine the size of private entrance culverts for this project. Our minimum requirements are 15" or 13"x17" in diameter and 30' in length. At this time I will require a listing of culvert sizes for my files. A private entrance detail should also be incorporated into the plans in accordance with the enclosed private entrance specification sheet. 6. The enclosed mailbox location specification sheet should also be included in the plans. Please revise and resubmit three (3) copies for final approval.
