Existing entrance is adequate for proposed use. However, should use ever expand in the future, the entrance may have to be upgraded to VDOT minimum commercial standards. Inspections Department: Building shall comply with the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code 1990 and Section 305, Use Group F (Factory) of the BOCA National Building Code 1990. Health Department: No malfunction of system observed. No objection to proposal with no increase in water use. Fire Marshal: A common hazard found in machine shop operations are oil soaked filing from various cutting 0 0 operations. A condition of approval for this CUP should be compliance with Va. Fire Prevention Code regarding metal shops. Once the shop is set up, request a walk through inspection by members of North Mountain V.F.D. Also, I request that an annual inspection be a condition of approval of this C.U.P. Fire protection in accordance with the B.O.C.A. Building Code should be adhered to in setting up building. Planning & Zoning: An inspection of this site was made on July 3, 1991. It does not appear that approval of this CUP would have any adverse impact on the neighborhood. The closest residence is about 1/4 mile to the north and the applicant's property is screened by several old chicken houses on the adjoining property. The applicants property is somewhat cluttered by junk, building material and other debris that should be cleaned up since it is in violation of the zoning ordinance. The applicant advised that all work will be done inside the recently constructed building and that most work will be picked up and delivered to his customers.
