My intent was in your best interest but unfortunately I was not aware of the actions of the Board of Supervisors in 1986. During the annual approval process early this year the Board had in fact cancelled the old permit and I advised them that I would request you folks to make application for a new permit. At that time their was no comment from them that would have led me to know that this action had already been approved. I am enclosing a copy of the Board minutes from February, 1986 that lists the approval and will also put this in your file in this department to insure any successor may know the correct status of your permit. This should have been done in the past. I am also enclosing a check for $75.00 which you paid as the fee for a conditional use permit. I was advised that you returned the sign on October 2, 1990 and a refund of the $25.00 has been ordered.
