Conditional Use Permit #011-90 of Allen E. Rogers was approved for a lawn care service company office and warehouse and equipment storage. This property is located just north of Opequon, on the east side of Route 620, just north of its intersection with Route 622 and is identified as parcel nos 92 and 93 on tax map 61 in the Back Creek Magisterial District. This CUP was approved with the following conditions: 1. This is a one year permit to be reviewed and renewed annually by the staff, the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors. 2. If the use, occupancy of ownership of the property changes, this permit shall expire. 3. This permit is subject to continued compliance with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) entrance requirements. Further, VDOT reserves the right to re-evaluate this entrance and require that it be upgraded to minimum commercial standards if the degree of its use increases. This use does not appear likely to change the character and established pattern of development in the area. It does not appear that the proposed building would be very noticeable from the road or existing dwellings. However, an adjoining lot is being considered for residential development.
