Prior to erection, a permit will have to be applied for through our District Office in Staunton. Inspections Department - This request for a conditional use permit for an off -site sign shall comply to Section 290.00 of the BOCA National Building Code 1987. Requirement for a permit would be 2 sets of plans, a plot plan of location of the sign, and Virginia Engineer's Seal on plans for the footers. If it is a lighted sign, need input amps, UL#, and electrical permit. Planning and Zoning - Proposed sign location is within State's right-of-way for Routes 11 and 836.
