This letter is to confirm the action taken by the Board of Super-
visors at their meeting of February 11, 1981 with regard to your
request for a conditional use permit for a home occupation/ shoe
repair shop.
The Board of Supervisors approved your Conditional Use Permit #025-
80 with the following conditions:
1. That this use take place in the garage on the premises.
2. All parking shall be off-street parking.
3. No one may be employed on the premises other than members of the
immediate family residing on the premises. 4. If the.use or occupancy -changes, this conditional use permit
shall expire ,and a new conditional use permit will be required.
5. This shall be a five year permit, reviewed annually by the staff.

east of Fulton Trucking.
MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT:
Opequon Magisterial District
ADJACENT LAND USE AND ZONING:
Agricultural zoning and land use.
PROPOSED USE:
Home occupation/part-time shoe repair shop for hobby.
The operation will be located in a bus.
REVIEW EVALUATION:
Va. Department of Highways and Transportation/Public Works -
No objection to the conditional use permit. On -site parking
to be provided.
Frederick -Winchester Health Department - Health Department
has no objections to the proposed use so long as employees
are members of the immediate family residing on the
premises. Restrooms not to be open to the public.
Department of Inspections - This proposed use is being
requested to be operated from a bus. The Department of
Inspections does not view a bus as an acceptable structure.
Planning and Zoning - The use as requested would be allowed
on a limited basis of activity as indicated by the applicant;
however, the use as proposed (being conducted out of an
existing bus) would not be advisable.
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS:
The staff would recommend that the use not be approved as an
operation out of the existing bus.
