Board of Zoning Appeals.at their meeting of June 19, 1990.
Variance application #003-90 was approved for a 10' rear yard
variance for a single family dwelling. This property is_located
off of Route 642. at Lakeside Estates on Macedonia Church Road in
the Shawnee Magisterial District and is identified as parcel 99 on
tax map 75G.
Our records indicate that you are still in possession of the
variance sign that was issued to you. We will begin the process

REASON FOR VARIANCE: Requested variance would insert proposed
dwelling 10 feet into the rear setback zone. This lot is an
unusual shape and would require placing the dwelling at a different
angle than the one proposed.
STAFF COMMENTS: This does not appear to qualify as a hardship
necessary for a variance. A different house plan set at a
different angle could probably be accommodated on this lot.
Another concern would be the residential property to the rear of
this lot that would be impacted by permitting this intrusion into
the setback zone.
