BACKGROUND INFORMATION - A 25' rear yard setback is required for any structure attached to the main dwelling in the RP (Residential Performance) zoning district. The applicant wishes to construct an attached pool cover 15' from the rear property, therefore, a 10' variance is required. It should be noted that accessory, unattached structures may be located 5' from the property line in the RP zone.
