It sounds like you were out there for a walk over and pointed out there is an opaque fence and gate noted on the site. The fence and gate were shown because there was not a tenant at the time of drawing the plan and they wanted to keep the option, of outdoor storage, open in case United Rentals decided to rent additional land. Recently, Shawnee Springs Cannery has signed a lease and will be using the building as a warehouse for canned goods and supplies. They will not have any outdoor storage. Everything will be kept inside and secured. The only activity will be a few employees and delivery trucks to the rear dock. Therefore, screening is not necessary. Do you need a note to add to the file that should outdoor storage ever take place, then screening per the site plan shall be required? Do you need a resubmittal of the site plan that removes the screening component? Either way, they do not wish to build the fence or install gates as there are not necessary and will be inconvenient for drivers to open and close. Thank you, Gary R. At this time, administrative approval cannot be granted. This site plan will not be approved until the issues in this letter, as well as all issues of the other review agencies, have been adequately addressed. Please review Staff s comments listed below and then prepare a revised minor site plan which adequately addresses each concern. Review Comments: 1) Site Plan Reference Number. Add the new Site Plan reference number, #27-19, to the plan set. 2) Sheet Index. On Sheet 1, Sheet 12 is noted as "United Rentals Details." On Sheet 12, the page is entitled "Life Safety and Lighting Plan." The content contained on Sheet 12 appears to be "Site Details." This should be clarified. 3) Proiect Information.
