Thank you for your review of the plan drawings for the above referenced project. The enclosed
submittal package has been revised in accordance with the review comments dated May 13,
2019. The following is a comment response letter and a discussion of any changes required.
1. Site Plan Reference Number. Add the Site Plan #17-19, to the plan set.
Site Plan #17-19 has been added to the plan set titleblock.
2. Previous Approvals. Add a note specifying "Previously Approved Plans" specifically Site
Plan (SP) #06-78.
General Note #16 regarding previously approved plans has been added to the drawings.
3. Building Addition. Add a note specifying the total square footage (SF) of the building
addition.
The square footage of the addition has been added to the plan on Sheet C102.
4. Agency Approvals. Comment sheets (approvals) are required from the following
agencies: the Building Inspections Department, The County Engineer (Public Works), and
the Fire Marshal.
Approvals from all agencies have been forwarded via e-mail.

The above -referenced site plans were approved on June 27, 2019. The site plans are approved for
security enhancements to existing public school facilities including:
• Millbrook HS (279 Square Feet — Stonewall District);
• Apple Pie Ridge ES (107 SF — Gainesboro District); and
• Sherando HS (294 SF — Opequon District)
All requirements of the Frederick County Zoning Ordinance have been met in the approved site
plan, including review agency comments from all relevant review agencies. I am providing you
with three (3) copies of each approved site plan. Please forward these copies to the appropriate
representative(s). Furthermore, advise the owner(s) that a copy should be kept for future reference,
and an approved copy must be kept on the construction site throughout the development process.
Once site development is complete, the owner(s) should contact this office to schedule an on -site

Planning Staff has reviewed the above -referenced minor site plan to determine if
administrative approval can be granted. At this time, administrative approval cannot be
granted. This site plan will not be approved until the issues in this letter, as well as all
issues of the other review agencies, have been adequately addressed. Please review Staffs
comments listed below and then prepare a revised site plan which adequately addresses
each concern.
Review Comments:
1) Site Plan Reference Number. Add the Site Plan #17-19, to the plan set.
