CONSULTING ENGINEERS MEMORANDUM TO: Candice Perkins, Frederick County Planning FROM: Ron Mislowsky, PE DATE: April 26, 2016 SUBJECT: Rock Harbor Golf Club Cc: Kevin Kenney We have prepared a site plan revision for a 1,144 SF expansion at the Rock Harbor Pro Shop/Restaurant. This expansion is due to the encroachment into the restaurant space by the Pro Shop, decreasing the original planned seating area by about 400 SF. The proposed addition will square up the existing structure, only marginally increasing the restaurant seating area. All utilities will be extended from within the building. The grading will be kept to a minimum necessary to relocate the adjacent golf cart path. The proposed disturbed area is .11 ac.; therefore a land disturbance permit will not be required. We have shown sift fence at the toe of the new slope which will be adequate protection for the nearby 10th tee. All construction access will be over paved/gravel base roadway further limiting erosion/sediment loss potential. I have attached the original design notes for the initial sewage disposal design. The allowed restaurant was set at 200/day. Even with this small expansion the owners do not believe this threshold will be exceeded.
