Their decision was based on recent County/VDOT comments of adding sidewalk along the property frontage of Valley Pike and Shawnee and the comment of closing the 2 existing entrances along Valley Pike, these comments have both cost and adverse impacts to their business plan. They have decided to just work with the existing building interior and maybe some exterior facade upgrades to the existing structure. At this time, administrative approval cannot be granted. This site plan will not be approved until the issues in this letter, as well as all issues of the other review agencies, have been adequately addressed. Please review Staff s comments listed below and then prepare a revised site plan which adequately addresses each concern. Review Comments: 1) Site Plan Reference Number. Add the Site Plan (SP) #24-18, to the cover sheet. 2) Signed Seal. A signed seal of the certified Virginia land surveyor, architect, or engineer who prepared the site plan is required on final copies for signature by the Zoning Administrator. 3) Previous Approvals. Update the note to include SP #22-94. 4) Si ns. Remove the reference to the Interstate Area (IA) Overlay District as this parcel is not part of the IA. 5) Building Restriction Lines. Depict the BRL's on the site plan drawing. 6) Agency Approvals. Comment sheets (approvals) are required from the following agencies: the Frederick County Inspections, the City of Winchester, and the Frederick County Fife Marshal. After you have revised the minor site plan, please resubmit one (1) copy via email so that Staff may verify the information contained on the plan addresses the above comments.
