Dear Mr. Brandt:
This letter is to confirm the Frederick County Board of Supervisors'
action at their meeting of July 11, 1984:
Approval of Conditional Use Permit #004-84 of Wayne M. Brandt III for
a Cottage Occupation/Welding Shop, located on Route 664, two miles
northeast of Winchester in Jordon Heights, Section 1, Lot 7 in the
Stonewall Magisterial District, with the following conditions:
1 ) This is a one year permit to be reviewed and renewed annually by
the staff, Planning Commission, and the Board of Supervisors.
2) If the use, occupancy, or ownership of the property changes, this
conditional use permit will expire and a new conditional use
permit will be required.
3) Off-street parking to be provided.
4) All operations to stop at 10:00 p.m. i

PROPOSED USE AND IMPROVEMENTS:
REVIEW EVALUATIONS:
Cottage Occupation/Welding Shop
Department of Inspections - Applicant must apply for Change of
Use ,and bring building into compliance with the Virginia
Uniform Statewide Building Code. Certificate of Occupancy must
be obtained before building is occupied.
Highway Department - No objection to this conditional use
permit. However, a commercial entrance permit must be applied
for and approved before the business is started.
Health Department - No objection.
Clearbrook Fire Company - No comment
Planning and Zoning - Due to the very close proximity of
adjacent residences, all work must be conducted in the
structure or a completely enclosed compound. Night and Sunday
hours should be very limited.
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: Approval with the following conditions:
1. This will be a one year permit to be reviewed and renewed
annually by the staff, Planning Commission, and the, Board of
Supervisors.
