This letter is to confirm the Frederick County Board of Zoning
Appeals' action at their meeting of February 21, 1984:
Approval of Variance Application #002-84 of Samuel L. Dimon for a
9.03 foot east side yard variance for the construction of an attached
14 foot wide carport located .one mile east of Middletown on the west
boundary line of Route 627. This property is designated as Parcel 9
on Tax Map 91C in the Opequon Magisterial District.

VARIANCE REQUESTED - A 9.03 east side yard variance.
REASON FOR VARIANCE -,The existing structure is constructed within
19.97' of the existing east property line. The proposed addition
will close the easement to 5.97'. The only logical location for the
carport is at the end of the existing driveway and to enter into the
kitchen, not the bedrooms.
BACKGROUND'INFORMATION - This application is for the reduction of the
required 15' side yard of the A-2 Agricultural Zone. The applicant
proposes to construct a carport 5.97 feet from the property,
therefore requiring a 9.03' variance.
STAFF COMMENT - A building permit is required prior to construction.

Grantors by the Grantees on or before the delivery of this Deed,
the receipt of all of which is hereby acknowledged, the Grantors
