for the construction of a new addition located at 2416 Millwood Pike.

the appropriate representative(s). Furthermore, advise the owncr(s) that a copy should be kept
for future reference, and an approved copy must be kept on the construction site tlnl-oughout the
development process. Once site development is complete, the owner(s) should contact this

Buildings shall comply with The Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code and section 303 -
A,Assembly Use Group of the International Building Code/2006. Other Code that applies is
ICC/ANSI Al 17.1-03 Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities. Structural plans
submitted for permit application shall be sealed by a Virginia Licensed Design Professional.
Proposed 231 sq ft conference room addition to existing VB Assembly church is required to be
ANSI Accessible. Building appears to meet ANSI. Rear Exit is accessible and empties into
existing parking lot. All required egress shall be Handicap Accessible. Existing HC parking is
noted on site plan. 20% ANSI Handicap rule applies
Please note the requirements in Chapter 17 of IBC for special inspection requirements on the
type of structure.( Soils, concrete ect..).

Dear Shaun:
Planning Staff has reviewed the above -referenced site plan to determine if administrative approval can be
granted. At this time, administrative approval cannot be granted. This site plan is denied until the issues
in this letter, as well as all issues of the other review agencies, have been adequately addressed. Please
review Staffs comments listed below and then prepare a revised site plan which adequately addresses
each concern. I have enclosed a marked copy of the plans to assist with the revisions
Review Comments
Labeling. Annotate adjoiner information, such as property owner's name, the use, and the
zoning. Annotate setbacks of property.
Vicinitv Map. Insert a vicinity map at a scale no less than 1000 feel.
Utilities. Show all existing utilities and easements ifapplicable.
Structure. Please provide heights, specific use, ground floor elevations, and total floor area of
existing and proposed structures.
After you have revised the site plan, please resubmit two copies so that I may verify the information
contained on the plan. I will need all approved review agency comment sheets and at least Five copies of
the final plan for approval. Comment sheets are required from the following agencies: the Frederick
County Inspections Department, the Frederick County Department of Public Works (County Lngineei),
and the Frederick County Fire Marshal. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or
concerns regarding this letter.
