The site plan proposes the expansion of an exisiing facility operated and awned by AT&T The existing site consists of a consolidation of properties which now contain: o single family brick dwelling, 2 paved driveways w/0 aprons on Route 11, o block building which houses the above ground equipment and allows for the access and maintenance of it. The site is relatively flat, with mature hardwood trees of the front, sides and rear. Paved parking spaces are located in the front of the block building to be utilized by AT&T employees when maintenance is required. The facility is otherwise unmanned. In order to serve the needs of new commercial sites in the vicinity, the existing facility requires expons/on. A building addition to accommodate this is proposed. The existing dwelling shall be demolished. The existing drive voo and parking shall be part/ally demolished and additional access drive shall be provided. To remediote any visual impact, evergreen trees shall be planted as screening to the north, as necessary, and to the roadway as requested in preapplication meeting. The view of the site from the property to the soutk should remain unchanged. Due to the fact that the site is relatively flat, runoff will sheet flow to the east, will not be concentrated, the impervious area shall not be increased (see tabulation, this sheet, adequate outfoll exists for this development. PHASE 2 Silt fence to remain in place until stabilization is complete. PERMANENT STABILIZA 77ON Once the construction is finished, the entire disturbed area is to be permanently seeded in accordance with Specification JJ2 of the Virginia Erosio and Sediment Control Handbook. Prior to the application of the permanent seeding, al/ slopes are to be roughened" in accordance with Specification J25 the Virginia Erosion and Sediment Control Handbook. This specification require that shallow grooves of steps be cut into the slope in order that the permanent stabiization wiz/ be better able to become established.
