Jeremy,
On the landscape plan, it states that there are 36 existing trees. The legend shows 6 deciduous and 56 evergreen trees
that are existing. I'm a bit confused as to where the 36 comes from because it seems that they planted 62 trees.
Also, provide a note that any future disturbance of the existing mature woodlands will require a revised landscaping plan
to replant.
Just noticed on the lighting sheets you sent:

Please find attached a copy of the revised landscape sheet, I walked the site this morning making note of all the existing
trees & shrubs which were not previously shown and as discussed made note of the existing tree credit

Looks like the typical unshielded wall pack light. The metal area on the top does little to ensure the light is downcast.
They will need to check with the manufacturer to see if it is internally shielded (more than likely not) and if not they will
need to order shields.

International Building Code 2006, Sections 311, S Storage, Other Code that applies is ICC

I have looked over the CW Wight site plan (Revision 2 — for the shop building expansion and parking lot addition) and
have the following comments:
1. On the coversheet under proposed use, state that the plan is for the shop building expansion and the parking
lot addition.
2. On the coversheet under outdoor lighting, change the code reference to show the new format.
3. Wall pack lighting - all of the wall pack lighting will need to be provided with shields. A detail of the shield
needs to be shown.
4. On sheet 3 — landscaping, under the shrub planting schedule the minimum shrub height (36") needs to be
shown. It is also unclear why white pines were utilized as they are not permitted for parking lot landscaping and
the site utilizes a fence for screening. Any of the existing white pines that have died need to be replaced with
deciduous trees and the new tree counts need to be shown on the plan.
5. Agency approvals are needed from: Inspections and the Fire Marshal.
For the other site plan, I still need the original submittal date for the site plan.
