PROJECT DESCRIPTION
THE GOLDEN SEAL ENTERPRISES SITE IS LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF ROUTE 522 FRONT
ROYAL PIKE AND SOUTH OF AIRPORT ROAD IN FREDERICK COUNTY VIRGINIA AND IS WITHIN
THE SHAWNEE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT. THIS PROPERTY IS IDENTIFIED IN THE FREDERICK
COUNTY TAX MAPS AS PROPERTY IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS 64A-1-5 & 5A AND CURRENTLY
ZONED LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (Ml). THERE ARE TWO EXISTING BUILDINGS AT THE SITE THAT
CONNECTED EACH OTHER, ONE WAS USED AS GENERAL OFFICE PURPOSE AND THE SECOND
ONE WAS USED AS A TRAINING CLASS AND WAREHOUSE STORAGE BUILDING. THERE IS NO
PROPOSE MODIFICATION ON THE OUTSIDE OF THESE BUILDINGS, BUT A LITTLE MODIFICATION
ON THE INSIDE OF THESE BUILDING TO MEET THE HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY AND REMOVAL
AND NEW INSTALLATION OF THE WALLS. THE OWNER AND FREDERICK COUNTY BUILDING
INSPECTOR HAVE MET AT THE SITE AND GO THROUGH THE LIST ON WHAT NEED TO BE
UPDATED TO MEET WITH FREDERICK COUNTY BUILDING CODE. THE OWNER PROPOSED
SHOOTING RANGE PRACTICE FACILITY THAT WILL BE ENCLOSED ON ALL FOUR SITES BY
CONCRETE WALLS WITH SCREENED OPENING ON THE TOP OF 8 F1�ET WALLS FOR AIR
VENTILATION. SPECIAL DESIGN BAFFLES ALSO WILL BE INSTALLED ON TOP OF THE WALLS TO
PROVIDE A PROPTECTION TOWARD THE TOP AND ROOF.
EXISITNG SITE CONDITIONS
THIS PROPERTY CONSIST OF APPROXIMATELY 7.28 ACRES AND IT IS LOCATED ON TOP OF
RIDGE WITH GENTLE SLOPING TERRAIN AND THERFORE NO OFFSITE DRAINAGE RUNOFF
FLOWING TO THIS PROPERTY. REGIONAL STORMWATER MANEGMENT FOR THIS PROJECT AND
THE AIRPORT BUSINESS CENTER HAS BEEN CONSTRUCTED AND IN OPERATION. THEREFORE
THE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENT FOR THIS PROPERTY HAS BEEN MET AND
SATISFIED. THE RUNOFF FROM THIS PROPERTY WILL BE OUTFALL TOWARD EAST, WEST AND
SOUTH, ALL RUNOFF FROM THESE DIRECTIONS WILL BE COMBINE AT THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE

14. ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO

THE GOLDEN SEAL ENTERPRISES SITE IS LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF ROUTE 522 FRONT
ROYAL PIKE AND SOUTH OF AIRPORT ROAD IN FREDERICK COUNTY VIRGINIA AND IS WITHIN
THE SHAWNEE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT. THIS PROPERTY IS IDENTIFIED IN THE FREDERICK
COUNTY TAX MAPS AS PROPERTY IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS 64A-1-5 & 5A AND CURRENTLY
ZONED LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (Ml). THERE ARE TWO EXISTING BUILDINGS AT THE SITE THAT
CONNECTED EACH OTHER, ONE WAS USED AS GENERAL OFFICE PURPOSE AND THE SECOND
ONE WAS USED AS A TRAINING CLASS AND WAREHOUSE STORAGE BUILDING. THERE IS NO
PROPOSE MODIFICATION ON THE OUTSIDE OF THESE BUILDINGS, BUT A LITTLE MODIFICATION
ON THE INSIDE OF THESE BUILDING TO MEET THE HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY AND REMOVAL

THIS PROPERTY CONSIST OF APPROXIMATELY 7.28 ACRES AND IT IS LOCATED ON TOP OF
RIDGE WITH GENTLE SLOPING TERRAIN AND THERFORE NO OFFSITE DRAINAGE RUNOFF

13. WHEN A LIVE WATERCOURSE MUST BE CROSSED BY CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES MORE
THAN TWICE IN ANY SIX-MONTH PERIOD, A TEMPORARY VEHICULAR STREAM CROSSING
CONSTRUCTION OF NONERODIBLE MATERIAL SHALL BE PROVIDED.
14. ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO
WORKING OR CROSSING LIVE WATERCOURSES SHALL BE MET.
15. THE BED AND BANKS OF A WATERCOURSE SHALL BE STABILIZED IMMEDIATELY
AFTER WORK IN THE WATERCOURSE IS COMPLETED.

ROADS, PROVISIONS SHALL BE MADE TO MINIMIZE THE TRANSPORT OF SEDIMENT BY
VEEHICULAR TRACKING ONTO THE PAVED SURFACE. WHERE SEDIMENT IS TRANSPORTED
ONTO A PAVED OR PUBLIC ROAD SURFACE, THE ROAD SURFACE SHALL BE CLEANED
THOROUGHLY AT THE END OF EACH DAY, SEDIMENT SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE
ROADS BY SHOVELING OR SWEEPING AND TRANSPORTED TO A SEDIMENT CONTROL
DISPOSAL AREA. STREET WASHING SHALL BE ALLOWED ONLY AFTER SEDIMENT IS

die-cast aluminum and seats the crown assembly with a silicone gasket to prevent entry of
moisture and insects. After maintenance or re-lamping, the top cap slides back into place.
The housing is 42' and available a nd available in Round or Square. Various heights are

minimum wall thickness.

even, glare -free pattern of light. It also conceals the lamp socket. Photometric data is tested
in accordance with IESNA guidelines.
LIGHTSOURCES- High Pre 5Sure Sold Lon, Compact Fluorescent, and Inca ndescent.Coated
lamp is supplied as stardlard. Incandescent lamps are to be provided by others.

H0USI NG - One-piece, seamless, heavy -walled, extruded aluminum. The housing top cap is
die -cast aluminum and sea Is lire crown assembly with a silicone gasket to prevent entry of
moisture and insects. After maintenance or re-lamph9, the top cap slides back into place.
The housing is 42' and available and available in Round or Square. Various heights are
available in6' increments. Minimum height is 20'.

minimum wall thickness.
FINISHES - Fixtures are finished with WLS DuraGrip' polyester powder coat finishing process.
The DuraGrip' finishwithstands extremeweatherchanges without cracking or peeling,ar3d
is guaranteed for five full years. Standard colors include bronze, black, platinum plus, buff,
white, satin vercle green, graphite, and metallic silver.
REFLECTORSI DISTRIBUTION PATTERNS - Indirect and internal louveroptics provides
uniform, symn-tetrical distribul ion that yields 3W light dissipation and offers an aesthetically
pleasing visual light source. Lower distri Exiting reflectorof spun aluminfm provides a wide,
even,glare-free pattern of light. Italsoconceals the lamp socket. Photometric data is tested
in accordance with IESNA guidelines.
LIGHT SOURCES- High Pre ssure Sod 111n,CompactFluoreseent,and Inca ndescent. Coated
lamp is supplied as standard. Incandescent lamps are to be provicle-d by others.
SOCKETS- Porcelaintnedium-base sockets on-411 HIDIarriplypes feature spring reinforced
contacts for long life. Compact Fluorescent fixtures fixtures feature a one-piece thermoplastic
socket.
BALLASTS. High -power factor type ballast is designed for -2Cfoperation. Multi-tapballast
is standard for I IID units. Compact Fluorescent ballasts are Electronic Universal Voltage
(120 - 277V 50/60Hz) or 317V (60Hz), Cr F starting.
ANCHOR BOLTS- Requires four 3/8"x10"galvanized steel anchor bolts.
