I feel that this plan is acceptable as written. The curving nature of this berm and the differing heights along its length will break up its visual appearance and have a more natural look than the traditional berm construction of one perfectly straight berm of uniform height. Adequate measures have been outlined for revegetating the berm with appropriate tree species for the locality and proper planting procedures to insure their survival and future growth. I feel this revision is acceptable and should accomplish the purpose of stabilizing these berms and making them more visually attractive. I recommend the use of the smaller bare -rooted seedlings as much as possible in these projects. While not providing the instant forest as larger landscape trees, this twill. result in a cost savings over the larger trees and still provide an effective visual screen.
