The approved site plan calls for the construction of a 3,968 square feet addition to the existing archives facility, the provision of a disabled parking space that is van accessible and is posted with appropriate signage, the creation of a truck staging area to be separated from the existing parking lot with concrete median barriers, the creation of a concrete slab casting area, and all appropriate erosion and sedimentation control measures. Our department has provided you with two copies of the approved site plan. This will allow you to provide the contractor with an approved copy on -site, and maintain a copy for your files. Please advise the contractor to obtain a land disturbance permit from the Frederick County Department of Public Works prior to any land disturbance activity, and to contact this office to schedule on -site inspections to ensure that required site work improvements are complete. The approval of this project submittal by our department was premature, as this site plan failed to address all of the comments in my letter dated July 12, 1995 and the comments made by the Building Official dated June 25, 1995. In order to ensure that the Shockey Company meets all requirements of the review agencies, I ask that you resubmit five copies of the final site plan that address the following comments: 1) Please provide a van accessible disabled parking and sign to meet the requirements of the American's with Disabilities Act. Please consult with Terry Stone, A.I.A to verify the placement of this parking space, as well as John Trenary, Building Official to ensure that appropriate access and slope have been provided. 2) Please provide our department with a recorded copy of the approved boundary line adjustment for this site. A recorded copy is needed to ensure that the proposed addition to the warehouse meets the setback requirements. 3) Please revise the site area acreage under the GENERAL NOTES section to reflect the acreage indicated on the boundary line adjustment plat. This should be done to indicate the acreage for lot 13 and lot 14, as well as the total acreage. 4) Please revise the FAR information as indicated on the marked -up site plan.
