Therefore, we recommend approval of the subject site plan. Because the plan indicates that an area greater than 10,000 square feet will be disturbed during construction of the subject project; a land disturbance permit will be required. You may obtain the permit application at the following site www.co.frederick.va.us. Once you've reached the county's website, select the link to engineering, then select the link for Subdivision and Commercial/Industrial Land Disturbance Permit. In addition, please download the Monetary Guaranty Procedures Package. This package contains the instructions for completing an Irrevocable Letter of Credit and Performance Bond depending on which item you opt for as an erosion and sediment control guarantee. Please be advised that we do not accept either the permit fee or E&S guarantee at the time of submittal of the land disturbance permit application.
