RE: Administrative Approval of Site Plan #32-02; General Electric Flazardous Materials Storage
Building; Property Identification Number (PIN) 63-A-57
Dear Mark:
The Frederick County Department of Planning and Development administratively approved the above referenced
plan on October 8, 2002. The site plan meets all requirements for development in the M 1 Zoning District.
Specifically, the site plan is approved for the construction of a 24.75' x 5.2' hazardous materials storage building
at the existing General Electric facility on Apple Valley Road. Fire lanes and concrete paving are being provided
as part of this development. In addition, appropriate separation from other structures is provided for safety
purposes.
I am providing you with three copies of the approved site plan. Please forward these to the appropriate
representative. Furthermore, please advise the owner that a copy should be kept for future reference, and an
approved copy must be kept on the construction site throughout the development process. Once site development
is complete, the owner should contact this office to schedule an on -site inspection. Please do not hesitate to contact
me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Jeremy F. Camp
