The building is shown as being parked at one space per 200sf of area (retail). There are currently two restaurant uses located within the existing structure (Blimpies & Godfathers Pizza). All restaurant uses currently within the existing, and any proposed restaurant uses within the expansion, need to be parked at one space per 100sf of area. 3) Parking Spaces. Canopy spaces camnot be used to count toward the required spaces. Also, upon inspection of the site, it is clear that the site (as is) does not have adequate parking. Currently there are vehicles parked along the entire northern curb area. There is also an issue with tractor trailers parking on the site; additional landscaping (evergreen) needs to be provided to screen the trucks. 4) Curb & Gutter and Landscaped Islands. The sidewalk along the new expansion needs to have curb and gutter (CG-6) as well as raised landscaped islands as indicated on the plan. 5) Lighting Requirements. This property has experienced issues in the past regarding outdoor lighting shining off the property. A note needs to be placed on the plan that states "all outdoor lighting must be shielded to prevent glare onto adjoining properties and road right-of-ways".
