The checklist below indicates all the information1hat needs to be submitted as part of the site plan
application. All required information must.be submitted prior to the final approval of any site plan.
The Department of Planning and Development will review the application to ensure that it is complete.
If any portion is not included or complete, the site plan application will not be accepted and returned

Dear John:
The Frederick County Department of Planning and Development administratively approved the above -
referenced site plan on October 7, 1999. This site plan, for the construction of additional office and
storage space for an existing self-service storage facility, meets all County requirements for development
within the M1 (Industrial, Light) Zoning District. Specifically, this site plan allows for 1,488 additional
square feet of office space and 2,640 additional square feet of storage space. The site plan also provides
for nine additional parking spaces. Landscaping is supplied in the form of three red maple trees.
I have provided you with several copies of the approved site plan. Please forward these approved plans
to the owner and advise the owner to keep an approved copy for their files. Furthermore, the owner
should ensure that an approved copy is maintained on the construction site throughout the development
process. Once site development has been completed, the owner should contact this office to schedule
an on -site inspection.

304, and 311, use group B (Business) nad S (Storage) of The BOCA National Building Code/1996

HC parking appears to be in compliance however required egress doors are not shown from
additions.

Dear John:
I have had the opportunity to review the above referenced site plan submitted to our department on
September 7, 1999. The following comments should be addressed and included in a revision of this
site plan. The submitted plan is also marked with these comments.
1. Please provide a scale for the vicinity map.
2. Our tax maps show that PIN 43-A-56 is not an adjoining property. However, PIN 43-19-17,
located across the railroad right-of-way, is an adjoining property. Please provide the use and
zoning for PIN 43-19-17 on the site plan.
3. Please note that four of the survey coordinates on this site plan do not correspond to a
previously approved subdivision plat on record in this office (#010-94). This final plat, dated
November 28, 1994, was performed by Furstenau Surveying. If this is the survey referenced
in 95 of the General Notes, please make the necessary adjustments.
4. Please provide the location, height, and specification for all proposed outdoor lighting. If no
such elements are proposed, please provide a statement to that effect on the site plan.
5. Please note that correct name for State Route 661 is Welltown Road. In addition, please
state the posted speed limit on Welltown Road.
6. Please note that parking spaces shall be at least 180 square feet in size and shall be no less
than nine (9) feet in width. Please ensure that all proposed parking spaces fulfill these
requirements.
7. Please modify the plant list on Sheet 2. Please replace the word "size" with the phrase "height
at time of planting" and adjust the figures accordingly.
