It is Frederick County's policy that bonds will not be released until all improvements have been completed. As you proceed with this project, please address the following comments prior to seeking a release of bond: • The single pedestal barbeque grills and the shuffleboard area have not been located according to the Site Plan, and the horseshoe pits do not appear to be fully operational. • The trees behind the adult recreation area have not been planted. • There are several dead/dying trees along Brookland Court. • Several of the pine trees in the road efficiency buffer along Senseny Road are dead/dying; several also appear to be smaller than four feet in height. We realize there are items remaining to be completed and intend on completing them. We made a sincere attempt to complete all items, however due to adverse weather conditions we were unable to do so. We agree the items remaining to be completed are: installation of 1 lamp post, assembly of picnic tables, installation of grills, installation of horse shoe area, painting of shuffle boards, grading and seeding. We are eager to complete all work in a professional and timely manner and anticipate completion by June 10, 2004. Please take into consideration our untarnished reputation of 15 years with Frederick County for being dependable and completing all our developments 100%. In addition, we will leave the existing letter of credit in place for approximately four times the amount of work remaining until the time we complete all items. Thank you for your consideration. The site plan calls for several other improvements associated with the construction of the condominiums. These improvements are, but not limited to, a pedestrian walkway system, a recreational area with several facilities, curb and gutter, complete paving, fencing, erosion and sediment control, and a complex landscaping plan. The landscaping plan is approved for the planting of 89 deciduous trees for the parking lot landscaping requirements, 212 evergreen and deciduous trees to provide a full landscape screen along the north property line, and 71 yews to screen parking lots from adjoining roads.
