application. All required information must. be submitted prior to the final approval of any site plan.
The Department of Planning and Development will review the application to ensure that it is complete.
If any portion is not included or complete, the site plan application will not be accepted and returned
to the applicant(s).

1. One set of approved comment sheets are required from the following review
agencies prior to final site plan approval. It is recommended that applicants contact
the Department of Planning and Development to determine which review agencies

Dear John:
The Frederick County Department of Planning and Development administratively approved the above -
referenced site plan on December 16, 1999. This site plan, for the construction of a kiln chamber for an
existing lumber mill operation, meets all County requirements for development within the RA (Rural Areas)
Zoning District. The existing lumber mill is a non -conforming use under the zoning ordinance. Such uses shall
not be expanded by more than 50%. The construction of a 2,475-square-foot kiln chamber does not exceed
the non -conformity standards of the zoning ordinance. The site plan also provides for the removal of all
inoperable vehicles and other debris from the parcel.
I have provided you with several copies of the approved site plan. Please forward these approved plans to the
owner and advise the owner to keep an approved copy for their files. Furthermore, the owner should ensure
that an approved copy is maintained on the construction site throughout the development process. Once site
development has been completed, the owner should contact this office to schedule an on -site inspection.

I have had the opportunity to review the above referenced site plan submitted to our department on
November 17, 1999. The following comments should be addressed and included in a revision of this
site plan. The submitted plan is also marked with these comments.
A. Please ensure that the engineer's certificate is signed.✓

properties. Please include PIN's 44- -52 (zoned RA), 44-5 (split -zoned B-2 and MH-1),
44-A-56 (zoned MH-1), 44-V4A (zoned RA) and 44-A -41/(zotied M-0.
41 Please provide information regarding the location and nature of Vu door storage areas.
