This site plan, for the construction of a kiln chamber for an existing lumber mill operation, meets all County requirements for development within the RA (Rural Areas) Zoning District. The existing lumber mill is a non -conforming use under the zoning ordinance. Such uses shall not be expanded by more than 50%. The construction of a 2,475-square-foot kiln chamber does not exceed the non -conformity standards of the zoning ordinance. The site plan also provides for the removal of all inoperable vehicles and other debris from the parcel. I have provided you with several copies of the approved site plan. Please forward these approved plans to the owner and advise the owner to keep an approved copy for their files. Furthermore, the owner should ensure that an approved copy is maintained on the construction site throughout the development process. Once site development has been completed, the owner should contact this office to schedule an on -site inspection.
