All required information must be submitted prior to the final approval of any site plan. The Department of Planning and Development will review the application to ensure that it is complete. If any portion is not included or complete, the site plan application will not be accepted and returned to the applicant(s). Site Plan Package 1. One set of approved comment sheets are required from the following review agencies prior to final site plan approval. It is recommended that applicants contact the Department of Planning and Development to determine which review agencies are relevant to their site plan application. Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Frederick County Sanitation Authority Department of Planning and Development Inspections Department Frederick County Engineer (Public Works) Frederick County Fire Marshal Department of Parks and Recreation 2. One copy of the Site Plan application 3. Five Copies of the Final Site Plan for approval 4. One reproducible copy of the Site Plan (if required) 5. Enterprise - Site Plan Approval Revisions to Revised Site Plan #029-96 Dear Mark Powlen: This letter is to inform you that the Frederick County Planning Department administratively approved revisions to the revised site plan #029-96 on November 6, 1996. These most recent revisions involves the construction of a sand storage tank, a silo, kiln, 3,750 sq. ft. manufacturing building addition with skylight, 560 sq. ft. office addition, 17 parking spaces, a handicap accessible parking space, and a landscaped berm on the west side of the parking lot. Please note that the most recent approved site plan is dated November 6, 1996. Any construction occurring on the property should reflect this November 6, 1996 site plan. Attached are two copies of the approved plan. This will enable you to provide your contractor with an approved copy, and maintain a copy for your records. Please have the contractor contact this office to schedule an on -site inspection once all improvements are complete. Please contact me if 1 may answer any questions regarding this letter. Dear Keith: I have reviewed the above site plan, submitted to this office on July 2, 1996. There are only a few minor comments that I feel are necessary to be addressed prior to recommending the site plan for administrative approval. The comments are as follows: Remove the statement "Landscaping for dust screening". The goal with the landscaping is to protect the adjacent residential use from this parking facility; appearance and dust are of concern. I feel that a statement as provided leaves an opportunity to discard the landscaping requirement if dust is not generate. The landscaping will be required regardless of the generation of dust. Provide a description of the proposed plants. Deciduous trees should have a minimum caliper of 2.5 inches at time of planting. Evergreens should be a height of a minimum of 4 feet at time of planting. Please address these two comments. Once the plan reflects all necessary comments, please resubmit five copies for approval.
