All required information must.be submitted prior to the final approval of any site plan. The Department of Planning and Development will review the application to ensure that it is complete. If any portion is not included or complete, the site plan application will not be accepted and returned to the applicant(s). Site Plan Package 1. Once the site development has been completed, the owner should contact this office to schedule a final site inspection. Please be aware that a Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued for the facility until all site improvements have been completed or bonded. It was noted that work was being performed without the proper permits being issued. Your building permit remains in our pending rack awaiting approval from the Planning and Zoning Department. An additional mechanical permit is required for the expansion of the sprinkler system. Please make necessary repair to re -activate the dry sprinkler system immediately. A stop work order has been placed at the above mentioned job site as of January 13, 1999. The BOCA National Building Code/1996, Section 117.0 Stop Work Order and Section 117.1 Notice to Owner: Upon notice from the code official that work on any building or structure is being prosecuted contrary to the provisions of this code or in an unsafe and dangerous manner, such work shall be immediately stopped. The stop work order shall be in writing and shall be given to the owner of the property involved, or to the owner's agent, or to the person doing the work; and shall state the conditions under which work will be permitted to resume. The BOCA National Building Code/1996, Section 116.2 Notice of violation: The code official shall serve a notice of violation or order on the person responsible for the erection, construction, alteration, extension, repair, removal, demolition or occupancy of a building or structure in violation of the provisions of this code, or in violation of a detail statement or a plan approved thereunder, or in violation of a permit or certificate issued under the provisions of this code. An application for appeal shall be based on a claim that the true intent of this code or the rules legally adopted therunder have been incorrectly interpreted, the provisions of this code do not fully apply, or an equivalent form of construction is to be used. Work may resume when the required permits are issued by Frederick County. Please be advised that this is subject to appeals under Section 121 of the Uniform Statewide Building Code within the BOCA National Building Code.
