The checklist below indicates all the information. -that needs to be -submitted as part of the site plan
application. All required information must.be submitted prior to the final approval of any site plan.
The Department of Planning and Development will review the application to ensure that it is complete.
If any portion is not included or complete, the site plan application will not be accepted and returned
to the applicant(s).

Dear Doug:
This letter is to inform you that Frederick County Planning Department administratively approved
site plan #008-98 on March 30, 1998.
This site plan will enable the construction of an 8,000 square -foot truck maintenance facility and a
4,500 square -foot parts warehouse. This proposed addition will connect two existing structure. In
addition to the buildings, six parking spaces will be relocated; each space is to be provided with a
wheel stop.
Attached are two copies of the approved plan. This will enable you to provide your contractor with
an approved copy, and maintain a copy for your records. Please contact this office to schedule an
on -site inspection once all improvements are complete.

appears all of our earlier review comments have been satisfactorily addressed. Please advise
the owner of our approval.
The appropriate land use permit may now be applied for to cover work within the Route 863
right-of-way. The permit is issued by this office and will require a minimum processing fee,
surety bond coverage, and the salary & expenses of a State assigned Inspector.
Once satisfactory application has been made, a permit will normally take approximately
thirty days to process and issue.

I have reviewed the above referenced site plan received by this office February 9, 1998. The
submitted plan appears to satisfy most of this department's concerns. Two remaining items
should be addressed:
1) Provide a space labeled "Approved by the Zoning Administrator" for the approval
signature and date of approval.
2) Sign and date the Professional Engineer seal.
Please revise your site plan to address the above comments and the comments provided to you by
the review agencies. You will also need to provide this office with the approved comment sheets
from all required review agencies. The required review agencies include: Virginia Department of
Transportation, Sanitation Authority, Inspections Department, County Engineer, Fire Marshal,
and this department. Once all comments have been addressed, please resubmit one copy of the
revised site plan to this department for final review. If the revised site plan satisfies all agency
comments, we will request five copies of the final site plan and recommend the site plan for
approval.

the referenced project. Our comments are as follows and as marked in red on the attached plan
sheets:
1. A note absolving VDOT of any liability for and as having no responsibility in the
maintenance of the SWM detention pond on site.
2. The proposed entrances should be labeled CG-11 entrances as shown to be 30' between lips
of gutter plan.
3. The drainage structures should be identified. Tabulation is acceptable. Data should match
storm sewer profile.
All miscellaneous notes in red should be addressed.
When all the above comments have been addressed, please submit five copies of the revised plan
to this office.
