1. All vegetative, structural erosion, and sediment control practices will be constructed and maintained according to minimum standards and specifications of
the Virginia Erosion and Sediment Control Handbook and Virginia VR 625-02-00 Erosion and Sediment Control Regulations.
2. The contractor will install the construction entrance and primary erosion and sediment controls prior as shown on the site plan prior to or as a first
step in clearing.
3. Within seven days of reaching final grade, the contractor will install permanent seeding to disturbed areas.
4. The contractor will contact the plan approving authority one week prior to commencement of land disturbing activity and one week prior to the final
inspection.
5. The contractor is responsible for installation of gny additional erosion control measures necessary to prevent erosion and sedimentation as determined by
the plan approving authority.
6. A copy of the approve erosion and sediment control plan will be maintained on the site at all times.
7. The contractor is responsible for drainage of all disturbed areas to sediment control measures at all times.
8. The contractor will inspect all erosion control measures periodically and after each runoff producing rainfall event. Any necessary repairs or cleanup to
maintain the effectiveness of the erosion control devices will be made immediately.

Project Description
The purpose of this project is for the redevelopment of a lawn equipment sales, repair store to a existing business type facility. Due to the minimal area
disturbed on the site, no additional E & S measures are proposed other than silt fence and construction entrance.
Existing Site Conditions
The site currently has several existing structures with some gravel areas and the rest is grass
Adjacent Properties
Old berryville Pike to the north, Dodge Street to the west and B2 zoned properties to the south and east.
Erosion Control Measures
-Install perimeter silt fence & construction entrance (if req.) per site plan
-Construct parking area
-Install permanent seeding and landscaping
Permanent Stabilization
Permanent erosion control measures include the establishment of grass on exposed surfaces disturbed in the construction process.
Maintenance Program
1. The contractor will inspect all erosion and sediment control measures after each rainfall and at least daily during prolonged rainfall. Damaged and or
deficient areas will be repaired or improved immediately.
2. Furthermore, the contractor will make a daily review of areas of construction activity to insure erosion control effectiveness, Additional measures will be
installed immediately where deficiencies are found.

1. All vegetative, structural erosion, and sediment control practices will be constructed and maintained according to minimum standards and specifications of

Project Description
The purpose of this project is for the redevelopment of a lawn equipment sales, repair store to a existing business type facility. Due to the minimal area
disturbed on the site, no additional E & S measures are proposed other than silt fence and construction entrance.
Existing Site Conditions
The site currently has several existing structures with some gravel areas and the rest is grass
Adjacent Properties
Old berryville Pike to the north, Dodge Street to the west and B2 zoned properties to the south and east.
Erosion Control Measures
-Install perimeter silt fence & construction entrance (if req.) per site plan

-Install permanent seeding and landscaping
Permanent Stabilization
Permanent erosion control measures include the establishment of grass on exposed surfaces disturbed in the construction process.
Maintenance Program
1. The contractor will inspect all erosion and sediment control measures after each rainfall and at least: daily during prolonged rainfall. Damaged and or
deficient areas will be repaired or improved immediately.
2. Furthermore, the contractor will make a daily review of areas of construction activity to insure erosion control effectiveness. Additional measures will be
