The checklist below indicates all the information that needs to be submitted as part of the site plan
application. All required information must be submitted prior to the final approval of any site plan.
The Department of Planning and Development will review the application to ensure that it is
complete. If any portion is not included or complete, the site plan application will not be accepted
and returned to the applicant(s).
Site Plan Package
One set of approved comment sheets are required from the following review
agencies prior to final site plan approval. It is recommended that applicants contact
the Department of Planning and Development to determine which review agencies
are relevant to their site plan application.

This letter is to inform you that the Frederick County Planning Department administratively approved
site plan #052-95 for an addition to the Albin Ridge Storage facility February 21, 1996. This site
plan involves the construction of an office/mini-storage warehouse (6,335 square feet), 16 parking
spaces, and a van accessible parking space and ramp.
Attached are two copies of the approved plan. This will enable you to maintain a copy for your
records, and provide a copy to the contractor. Please have the contractor contact this office to
schedule an on -site inspection once all improvements are complete.

Dear Tim:
I have reviewed the revised site plan dated December 28, 1995. The following comments will
need to be addressed in order for this office to proceed with approval of this site plan. Please:
1) Provide the developer's name, address, and phone number.
2) Modify the location of the proposed sign on Indian Hollow Road. The required
setback is ten foot; as proposed the sign would only exercise a three foot setback.
3) Note that no outdoor lighting fixtures have been included on the site plan. If this is
an over sight, please note the location of such lighting fixtures.
4) Note that no outdoor trash receptacles are included on the site plan. If such
receptacles are intended, please provide the location and a detailed drawing of the
structure intended to enclose the receptacles.
5) Provide the posted speed limit for Indian Hollow Road, if available.
6) Clarify that access from the accessible parking space to the proposed office
building satisfies ADA requirements. In particular, is the accessible parking space
and the proposed concrete walk at the same grade? If a ramp is necessary, please
provide a detailed drawing illustrating the same.
7) Clarify that the placement of the required accessible parking sign will not hinder
access to the proposed office building.
