Description: This project proposes the construction of a new communication tower facility.
This project includes the construction of approximately 5 concrete pads for a IC15'
lattice tower and it`s mechanical equipment.
Existing site conditions: The area to be disturbed under this plan is currently vacant wodded land.
,adjacent areas: This property is bounded on the west by White Tail Lane.
5olls Information: Soils information: The existing soil conditions were obtained from field
Frederick Gounty Soils Survey data. The soils are Wiekert-Berks Ghonnery slit looms.
These soils are well drained and have on average depth to bedrock of 15" to 50 "
Gritical areas: There are no unusuoll or critical areas at this site.
Erosion and sediment control measures: Gontrol of erosion and sedimentation for this site
shall be achieved by installing the following.
I. Gonstruction entrance.
2-. Construct Slit fence.
3. Soil stabilization through permanent seeding of any unpaved disturbed areas.
Permanent stabilization. Once construction is complete, all disturbed areas not built upon
or paved shall be covered with a minimum of four (4) inches of topsoil. Fertilizer, seeding
and a blanket of straw shall be applied to the topsoil.
Stormriater management:. There is no proposed stormKoter management for this project.
Maintenance Program: The erosion and sediment control measures installed on the site
shall be maintained by performing the following.
1. The sfte superintendent shalt inspect all erosion and sediment control devices after each
rainfall and at least daily during prolonged rainfall. Damaged or deficient controls shall be
repaired or improved immediately.
2 The site superintendent shall inspect daily the areas construction activity to insure
erosion control effectiveness. Additional measures shall be installed immediately where
deficiencies are found.
3. Permanent erosion control measures Include the Installation of rip rap at storm sewer
outfolis and the establishment of grass on exposed surfaces disturbed in the construction
process.
Erosion and sediment control program
I. Hold pre construction meeting on site.
2. install construction entrance.
3. Installation of silt fence.
4. Grade the site, install concrete pads.
5. After approval by the inspector, remove the temporary control devices and stabilize the
areas disturbed during removal.
Note: Frederick County retains the right to add and/or modlfy these erosion
and sediment control measures during the construction process, within reason, to ensure
adequate protection to the public and the environment.
Seeding schedule (soil stabilizationj:
I. Spread topsoil at a minimum depth of four (4) inches.
2. Incorporate pulverized agricultural limestone into the topsoil at a rate of q2 lbs. per
1,000 square feet (2 tons per acre).
3. Fertilize with 10-10-10 fertilizer at a rate of 25 Ibs per 1,000 square feet (1,000 Ibs per
acre).
4. Seed all areas with a seed mix consisting of 67% Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue and 53%
Red Top Glover.
5. Mulch all seeded areas with straw mulch applied at a rate of 3,500 Ibs per acre,
anchored with cutback or emulsified asphalt applied at a rate of 200 gallons per acre.

Description: This project proposes the construction of a new communication tower facility.
This project includes the construction of approximately 5 concrete pads for a IG5'
lattice tower and It's mechanical equipment.
Existing site conditions: The area to be disturbed under this plan is currently vacant wodded land.
Adjacent areas: This property rs bounded on the west by White Tarl Lane.
Solis information: Soils information: The existing loll conditions were obtained from field
Frederick Gounty Soils Survey data. The soils are Wiekert-E3er1<5 Ghonnery slit looms.
These soils are well drained and have on average depth to bedrock of 15" to 30 ".
Critical areas: There are no unusuoll or critical areas of this site
Erosion and sediment control measures: Gontrol of erosion and sedimentation for this site
shall be achieved by installing the following.
I. Gonstruction entrance.
-. Construct Sift fence.
3. Soil stabilization through permanent seeding of any unpaved disturbed areas.
Permanent stabilization: Once construction is complete, all disturbed areas not built upon
or paved shall be covered with a minimum of four (4) inches of topsoil. Fertilizer, seeding
and a blanket of straw shall be applied to the topsoil.
Stormwater management- There is no proposed stormKoter monagemant for this project.
Maintenance Program: The erosion and sediment control measures installed on the site
shall be maintained by performing the following.
I. The site superintendent shall inspect all erosion and sediment control devices after each
rainfall and at least daily during prolonged rainfall. Damaged or deficient controls shall be
repaired or improved immediately.
2 The site superintendent shall inspect daily the areas construction activity to insure
erosion control effectiveness. Additional measures shall be installed immediately where
deficiencies are found.
3. Permanent erosion control measures include the installation of rip rap at storm sewer
outfolls and the establishment of grass on exposed surfaces disturbed in the construction
process.
Erosion and sediment control program
I. Hold pre construction meeting on site.
2. Install construction entrance.
3. Installation of silt fence.
4. Grade the site, install concrete pads.
5. After. approval by the inspector, remove the temporary control devices and stabilize the
areas disturbed during removal.
Note: Frederick Gounty retalns the right to add and/or modify these erosion
and sediment control measures during the construction process, within reason, to ensure
adequate protection to the public and the environment.
Seeding schedule (soil stabilization):
I. Spread topsoil at a minimum depth of four (4) inches.
2. Incorporate pulverized agricultural limestone into the topsoil at a rate of c12 lbs. per
1,000 square feet (2 tons per acre).
3. Fertilize with 10-10-10 fertilizer at a rate of 23 Ibs per 1,000 square feet (1,000 Ibs per
acre).
4. Seed all areas with a seed mix consisting of 6-7% Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue and 33%
Red Top Glover.
5. Mulch all seeded areas with straw mulch applied of a rate of 5,500 Ibs per acre,
anchored vqith cutback or emulsified asphalt applied at a rate of 200 gallons per acre.
