The soil types listed Include the 513, bO, and 325 solls. Erosion potential for these soils Is moderate to severe. Critical areas: Hogue Creek runs through the eastern portion of this site. No development Is proposed In or near the creek and the stormwater management pond will be built outside the flood plain associated with the creek. Erosion and sediment control meostr'e5: Gontrol of erosion and sedimientotion for this site shall be achieved by install" the following. I. Slit Fence. 2. Diversion dikes. 3. Temporary sediment traps. 4. Outlet protection. 5. Culvert Inlet protection 6. Temporary sediment basin. Permanent stabilization: Once construction Is complete, all disturbed areas not built upon or paved shall be covered with a minimum of four (4) Inches of topsoil. Fertilizer, seeding and a blanket of straw shall be applied to the topsoil. 5torrrwoter management, A stormwater management pond Is proposed for this project. The pond Is to be constructed In the southeastern corner of the site. Hointenonce Program: The erosion and sediment control measures Installed on the site shall be maintained by performing the following. I. The site superintendent shall Inspect all erosion and sediment control devices after each rainfall and at least dolly during prolonged rainfall. Damaged or deficient controls shall be repaired or Improved immediately. 2 The site superintendent shall Inspect dolly the areas construction activity to Insure erosion control effectiveness. Additional measures shall be Installed Immediately where deficiencies are found. 3. Permanent erosion control measures Include the Installation of rip rop at storm sewer outfolls and the establishment of grass on exposed surfaces disturbed in the construction process. Erosion and sediment control program : I. Hold pre construction meeting on site. 2. Clear and grub the areas necessary for Installation of the diversion dike, slit fence and 5edlment traps. 3. Rough grade the pond and Install the sediment basin. 4. Complete rough grading. Temporary soil stabilization shall be applied to all disturbed areas within 14 dolip If the area is to remain dormant for more than 21 days. 5. After approval by the Inspector, remove the temporary control devices and stabilize the areas disturbed during removal. Note: Frederick County and VDOT retains the right to add and/or modify these erosion and sediment control measures during the construction process, within reason, to ensur--, adequate protection to the public and the environment. 1992 Anti -Seep Collar Design - Los COr'C. MA55 GRAIDING PLAN EROSION AND 5E:DIMENT CONTROL NARRA'.TI VE Description: This project proposes to rough (grade the portion of the Trex Industrial Park to prepare the site for the new 15OX)OO sf build" and finished goods storage area.. The total area to be disturbed by this project Is approximately 23.8 acres. Date of construction: Construction will begin Following plan approval and will take approximately one (1) year to complete. Existing site conditions: The -roo to be disturbed under this plan Is a combination of vacant grass land and Trex's current finished goods storage area. Adjacent areas. This project is bounded on the north by Shawnee drive, on the south by property owned by Flex-O-Glos and H.P. Hoo<d, on the west by and existing roll line, and on the east by the Route 81 right of way. Soils Information: The exist" soil conditions) were obtained from the USDA Soils Survey. The soil types listed Include the 513, (bC, and 326 soils. Erosion potential for these soils Is moderate to severe. Crlticol areas: Hogue Creek runs through the i eastern portion of this site. No development Is proposed in or near the creeek and the stormwater management pond will be built outside the flood plain ossocloted wllth the creek. Erosion and sediment control measures: Comtrol of erosion and sedimentation for this site shall be achieved by installing the following. I. Silt Fence. 2. Diversion dikes. 3. Temporary sediment traps. 4. Outlet protection. 5. Gulvert Inlet protection b. Temporary sediment basin. Permanent stabilization: Once construction is complete, all disturbed areas not built upon or paved shall be covered with a minimum of four (4) Inches of topsoil. Fertilizer, seeding and a blanket of straw shall be applied to tihe topsoil. Stormwater management: A stormwater management pond Is proposed for this project. The pond Is to be constructed In the southemstern corner of the site. Maintenance Program: The erosion and sediment control measures Installed on the site shall be maintained by performing the follov4". I. The site superintendent shall Inspect all erosion and sediment control devices after each rainfall and at least dolly durMlg prolonged rainfall. Damaged or deficient controls shall be repaired or Improved Immediately. 2 The site superintendent shall Inspect dolly the areas construction activity to Insure erosion control effectiveness. Additional mmasures shall be Installed Immediately where deflclencles are found. 3. Permanent erosion control measures include the Installation of rip rap at storm sewer outfolls and the establishment of grass on exposed surfaces disturbed In the construction process. Erosion and sediment control program : I. Hold pre construction meeting on site. 2. Clear and grub the areas necessary for Ilnstallatlon of the diversion dike, silt fence and sediment traps. 3. Rough grade the pond and Install the sediment basin. 4. Complete rough grading. Temporary soil stabilization shall be applied to all disturbed areas wlthin 14 dogs If the area Is to remain dormant for more than 21 days. 5. After approval by the Inspector, remove the temporary control devices and stabilize the areas disturbed during removal. Note: Frederick County and VDOT retains the right to add and/or modify these erosion and sediment control measures during the construction process, within reason, to ensur,3 adequate protection to the public and the environment. 1992 -). i 4 Anti -Seep Collar Design - USE Cool -IC.
