The Frederick County Department of Planning and Development administratively approved the above -
referenced site plan on August 8, 2000. This site plan, for a 180 square foot storage shed, meets all
County requirements for development within the B2 (Business General) Zoning District. No additional
parking or landscaping is required for this site improvement.
I have provided you with several copies of the approved site plan. Please forward these approved plans
to the owner and advise the owner to keep an approved copy for their files. Furthermore, the owner
should ensure that an approved copy is maintained on the construction site throughout the development
process. Once site development has been completed, the owner should contact this office to schedule
an on -site inspection.

Addition shall comply with The Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code and
section 304, use group B (Business) of The BOCA National Building Code/1996.
Other code the apply are CABO A117.1-92 Accessible Buildings and Facilities.
Table 705.2 of BOCA requires a 1-HR fire rating of the exterior wall located
6' from the exterior property line.
Please check section 1104.2 ex.#2 for elevator requirements to access the
second floor if utilized for medical facility.
Section 1110.2.1 Exception 41 of BOCA (ADA 20% rule) shall apply for addition or
renovations.
