All required information must be submitted prior to the final approval of any site plan. The Department of Planning and Development will review the application to ensure that it is complete. The Frederick County Board of Supervisors approved a rezoning ofthis property on May 23, 2001. All conditions of the approved proffer statement have been satisfactorily addressed in the site plan except the proffered donation of $1,000 to the Round Hill Community Fire & Rescue Company (#15). The purpose of this visit was to obtain information on the proposed water storage tank for the fire suppression system. Mr. Dehaven has indicated that the fire department connection will be located on the proposed pump house. Our discussion also included the need for a fire hydrant to be supplied on the system to access water from the storage tank. The need for the fire hydrant is to provide a water supply to allow interior firefighting activities to extinguish any fire. It will also allow access to support the sprinkler system's fire pump should there be a power outage or pump failure. This hydrant is necessary as a fire sprinkler system is designed to control a fire and not necessarily extinguish it.
