Info A meeting was held with Frederick County staff to discuss the proposed project and County re Uirements for site plan review and approval. 2. IllfO Discussed Site/Civil preliminary design drawing, parLlCUlarly the two paved areas: the la down area at the SOIItll side of the site and the trailer storage area at the east side of the site. 3. Info Ed Strawsnyder stated that the desired goal for runoff front these paved areas is to not change the existing drainage patterns Or quantities. If permeable pave111cilt systems are Used for these two areas then tile rlllloff call C0116111IC to drain to the existing retellli011 Jolld. 4. CHA Discussed permeable paving systems for the laydown area. The consensus was that this area should be open grid concrete pavers supported by a layer of drainage stone such as VDOT #57 Underlaid by a geotextile fabric. This was felt to be the most appropriate for fork truck loads. A layer of weed control fabric Under the pavers nlay be desirable. CHA is to design the system based on soils information to support the fork truck wheel loads. Underdrains may be provided. 5. CHA Discussed permeable paving systems for the trailer storage area. This should be a layer of drainage stone with a plastic grid such as "Gravel pave" to hold the stone in place. The stone ShOUld be Underlaid by a geotextile fabric. Underdrains may be provided. 6. CHA Candice Perkins stated that a screen would be required along the property line adjoining the laydown area. The screen could be either a six foot high board -on -board wood fence or a double row of evergreen trees, approximately ten feet, center to center. Leyland Cyprus was mentioned as an example species. 7. I11170 The review schedule was discussed. Plans will be a Illlllor site plait adjustnlent.
