At this time, administrative approval cannot be granted. This site plan is denied until the issues in this letter, as well as all issues of the other review agencies, have been adequately addressed. Please review Staff's comments listed below and then prepare a revised site plan which adequately addresses each concern. Review Comments 1. Enp_ineer Seal. The site plan needs to sealed by an engineer or surveyor certified in the Commonwealth of Virginia. 2. Signature Block. Project Summary. A project summary needs to be on the coversheet. After you have revised the site plan, please resubmit two copies so that I may verify the information contained on the plan. On September 151h, 2008, TrAILCo submitted a site plan to you for the Meadow Brook Substation Expansion project for the expansion of the existing substation in a southwesterly direction to accommodate the termination of two new 500 kV lines, which was approved on 12/23/08. The modification to that site plan will entail a minor expansion of the approved site plan which will increase the approved footprint by 1.20 acres to accommodate the installation of high voltage outdoor electrical equipment consisting of three (3) 500 kV Air Core Current Linuting Reactors. The physical expansion of the yard will be well within the existing property of this substation site. Attached you will find an aerial image of the proposed modification along with engineering drawings. Please review this information at your earliest convenience. Please let me know if you have enough information to make a determination as to whether or not you can issue a letter of approval for this modification to the site plan.
