Use. We are aware that this building will now be used for an automotive painting facility instead of an office/warehouse, therefore the title of this site plan and the labeling of the building needs to be changed from proposed office/warehouse to Automotive Painting Facility. 2. Outdoor Storage. If inoperable automobiles waiting to be painted are going to be stored outside of the structure a screened area on the site plan must be shown. 3. Sidewalks. I've reviewed the site plan and for the most part the site plan is very well done; however, there are a few concerns which need to be addressed before final site plan approval can be considered. Please review Staff s comments shown below and then prepare a revised site plan for my review. Review Comments: 1) Street Name. The access road into Commonwealth Business Center is actually Commonwealth Court, not Commonwealth Drive. Please change all references to this road as necessary. 2) Outdoor Storage. Please show the location of all proposed outdoor storage. If no outdoor storage is proposed, then please provide a statement on the site plan to that effect. 3) Lighting. Please add a statement, beside your statement "Lighting: By others", that all lighting shall be shielded and directed away from adjoining properties and roads to prevent glare. 4) Right Travel Aisle Width. I advise that you make the right internal travel aisle at least 24 feet in width if any future buildings may occur in the rear of the parcel. 5) Plat. The permit is issued by this office and will require a minimum processing fee, surety bond coverage, and the salary & expenses of a State assigned Inspector. A copy of any/all recorded plats of dedication for drainage easements or additional right-of-way required for implementation of this proposed project should be provided to VDOT prior to issuance of any land use permits.
